Get Organised and stay focused

The great thing about the internet is that it is all there. Information that is. Whatever subject you want to learn, you can find it.

The bad thing about the internet is there is too much information and you cannot believe it all. Don't fall into the trap of believing that because someone has stuck up a web page, it must be true.

Ask yourself this, "why have they put this page here, what is their motive?"

As you browse for information, it's all to easy to get side-tracked. If you are going to use your time efficiently you need to stay focused on the subject you are researching.

For example if you are researching keywords then research keywords, don't be tempted to look at link popularity because you have seen an interesting looking link on another SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) page.

Every page you look at has links, and it will require a great deal of will power not to go wandering. However write the link down if you think it is worth a second look and come back to it when you are researching that subject.

I am not going to go into how to get organised, except to say get yourself a folder and some notepads, and make notes as you go.
